A 3 bedroom Millennium adjusted to suit the restrictive parameters of the small suburban site necessary to achieve maximum northern orientation for greatest thermal performance. The retired couple wished to substantially reduce their heating and lighting bills and have ample sunny open plan living space for visiting children and grandchildren. It was important to have flowing and same level access to northern and southern garden spaces for summer and winter alfresco dining.
